The MHL Hotel Collection is pleased to announce significant investment and refurbishment plans for Brooks Hotel. Located on Drury Street in Dublin 2, Brooks Hotel originally opened in 1996 and was acquired by MHL Hotel Collection in June 2023. The hotel is now set to undergo a €6 million transformation.
As a result of this investment and the scale of works planned, the hotel will temporarily close for a three-month period on Thursday 31st October 2024 and will reopen at the end of January 2025.
John Lally, Partner, MHL Hotel Collection said “We fondly looked at Brooks Hotel over the last number of years and were delighted to add it to our collection in 2023. We are pleased to announce an exciting refurbishment program that will transform the bedrooms, public areas as well as the food and beverage offering within the hotel. Brooks Hotel is the epitome of a boutique hotel, and we are planning a thoughtful and sympathetic refurbishment to help accentuate and showcase the features and personality of the hotel further. Over the coming months we plan to invest €6 million.”
Any guests who have booked to stay during the temporary closure period will be contacted in the coming days. Full time team members will either be directly involved in managing the refurbishment project or offered the opportunity to work within other hotels within the MHL Hotel Collection portfolio.
