Our CSR Approach
MHL Hotel Collection proudly sits within the communities where our properties thrive and it is an essential element of this relationship that we offer our collective strength to support those that need it most.
Each year, MHL Collection selects a company-wide charity partner from the many deserving causes proposed by our team members. This charity then benefits from our fundraising focus throughout the year.
We are delighted to be collaborating with the Irish Cancer Society and we look forward to assisting this most worthy of charities throughout the year. Good luck to all that will run, play golf, take part in a quiz, sell daffodils and many more events throughout the year, without you, none of this would be possible.
Supporting Local Initiatives
To further support our local community, each hotel in our collection then has the opportunity to fundraise or donate their time, on behalf of their more unique, local community needs. This combined approach to our fundraising activities gives our team members the opportunity to really feel the powerful impact their energy, time and generosity can have on those whom they help. This is a lasting positive impression that spurs us forward to do more.
Doing Our Bit
Activities are a great way of not only tying us to our community but also to each other and forging stronger teams. We discover, to our surprise sometimes, that litter picking, painting schools or cleaning canals can be such fun and so personally rewarding! The rewards of a bake sale are not only monetary, the treats expertly created by our team members can brighten any day. With all such things, the key is to get involved and it is with great pride we observe the willingness of our teams to do so.
For our part also, MHL Hotel Collection will match donations raised for certain key activities, giving all the totals raise an additional boost.
Some of our other charities to benefit are:
Cliona’s Foundation – assisting families with sick children
Pieta House Darkness into Light – supporting mental health and suicide prevention
Wicklow Hospice – specialist palliative care
Enniskerry First Responders – unpaid volunteers that help before the ambulance arrives
