Our Commitment
At MHL Hotel Collection, we recognise that our business and hotels have an
important role to play in protecting and enhancing the environment for future
generations, and to help secure the long-term sustainability of the tourism industry. It is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact through better efficiencies in the use of energy, minimising waste and water usage. As well as ensuring responsible purchasing, supporting local suppliers, engaging with charities, community and empowering our staff.
Accreditation
We have partnered with Green Tourism, a hospitality specialist environment accreditation partner who provide a leading sustainability certification program for the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors, recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). Green Tourism complete a certification process that evaluates businesses on their sustainability practices. All of our hotels have achieved a minimum silver level award, and we are delighted to have 8 hotels who have been awarded gold.
